I would like to thank the Hartland Community for their support of our Drivers Education program over the past ten years.  When the law governing Drivers Education changed in 1998 and the State no longer fully funded the program,   Hartland Community Education decided to continue offering the award winning program.

It was a good run.  Because of the experience and expertise of our staff, we were instrumental in helping develop the laws and administrative rules that are currently in effect.  Our instructors are National and State Certified with over 100 years of cumulative experience. We have been the leaders in the industry!

Unfortunately, the time has come where we can no longer financially afford to run the program.  Since Community Education is self-funded each and every program has to cover its costs.

We will offer the February 2008 Segment 1 and 2 class to their completion.

A special thank you goes to the following people for their passion and support of our program over the years:

Instructors:  Mr. Dale Wagnitz, Mr. Randy Wilson, Mr. Darrel Burget, Ms. Kathleen Cartwright, Mr. Mike Letovsky, and Mr. Ernie Shegina.

Program Coordinator:  Ms. Debbie Steger

Administrative Support:  Ms. Janet Sifferman, Superintendent and the Central Office administrators as well as the Hartland Consolidated School Board for their ongoing support.

Superior Cadillac GMC in Brighton and the General Motor Company who provided brand new cars for the behind-the-wheel instruction portion. Mr. Chuck Caverly, Bus Garage Supervisor and his staff for their meticulous attention to all of our vehicles.

A sincere appreciation to all of you!
